Garden Futures

V&A Dundee, October 2025

In October 2025, I was asked to bring Plants Can Dance to the V&A Museum in Dundee.

Robertson Studio: An installation working with various plants to create an interactive soundscape, triggered by plant bioelectricity and human interaction.

Juniper Auditorium: An indoor Audio-Visual Forest Bathing experience using field recordings I captured in various British forests.

Main event space: I hosted a biosonification workshop, allowing visitors of all ages to try making their own music from plant electricity.

Garden Futures Exhibition: Visitors got to try my new nature-based listening app, Soniferous, for the first time - allowing them to travel across the globe using sound.

Watch a short video of my Garden Futures Installation at the Robertson Studio. Human touch contributes to the living composition, highlighting our place within the wider botanical ecosystem that we all live within.
